Reflection on Your Game Idea

WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) I plan to create my game for people of all ages and grade level. I want all people to play my game and to learn all about my topic, which is racism in the world.

WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)
My game will be about racism in the whole world. People get treated very badly due to their race. It's not their fault that they are that race. They are proud of their race and we should be too. We get almost every thing we use from a different race.

WHERE does your game happen?
Describe the world you will design for your game.
My game will take place in a trashy world. The world became trashy due to all the wars fought because of racism. There will be buildings burning and the sky is red and hazy.

How will this setting add to the learning experience?
This maybe could inspire children and adults to not be so racist. It might make kids see the world behind them and they might want it to stay blue, clear and clean!

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
What happens in the world that helps the player learn?
Racism is a big problem in the world, and I know that my game will stand out because most games don't teach and if they do teach, they teach about teen pregnancy and drugs which are important too, but I think not many games teach about racism.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?
They will be answering a quiz after they learn about the different races. This will keep them on their toes if they skip the learning process and try to win without learning. This process will make sure they learn because the person/people always want to get a hundred or more than they originally got. I think the quiz idea is perfect!

WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?
Well, my game is a quiz, but who wants to learn by sitting in a chair, at school (which is important too) reading from a text book, doing homework then having a quiz. Boring, right? Well, a computer quiz seems a WHOLE lot better than a long boring school quiz.
