March of the penguins

1) Penguins are cool, and they go through a lot. They must over come harsh winds, fierce cold, and endure starvation, and they have to go through all that while protecting an egg. They also must protect themselves from predators and protect their baby from predators as well. The weather has a big effect as well. The cold can kill penguins, so not all penguins can mate, and it can also end their eggs life, also ending the relationship with the male and female penguin.

2)Due to the heating and cooling (mostly heating) Antarctica is always changing, and when the penguins go out to eat, they have to walk 70 miles just to get one meal, so they are always on the run and on the go, and they have to protect the egg from the cold with their belly fat. I think that it's hard trying to endure a cold while protecting an egg.

3) Penguins have very thick coat of feathers that can protect them from the harsh cold and from the harsh freezing water. This is how they adapt.When a storm comes, they work together to keep warm. This is what they have done for a long time. They also are great swimmers. They got this ability so that they can swim and look for food, while using their speeding swim to jump out of the water to avoid predators.

4) Sometimes in Antarctica, they have no sunlight. The reason is because of the Earths tilt and the revolution of the Earth and sun. The Earth spins in a certain way where the bottom of the Earth is never shown sunlight, well, a majority of the bottom of the Earth.
