Playing to learn Game review

The genre I want to base my game off of is Adventure!

What did you learn from your choice of games and genres to review?
This is probably in my opinion, is the best way to educate people. You can make them answer a question before starting a level, and then have them learn more while exploring the level. Also, you could have them answer questions to get power ups. This is a perfect way to get people to learn about your topic!

Name any game features that stood out to you, either because they were interesting or because they could be improved.
I liked the status factor in games. The status factor to me is a condition on your character that can change his abilities or stats in any way, such as slowing you down, or slowly increasing your power. I like this factor.

Write down any questions you have about the game or genre you chose. You might answer them yourself later!
What can I do to improve my game this year than the last 2 years?
What can I do to make sure I do my work?
Who do I know will help me in Globaloria in this years teams?

  1. Chris you did a great job. I enjoyed reading your blog. I agree with you on the game genres, they can easily help education become better now in our days especially with future video game designers. By the way what is a factor status?, I wasn't able to understand what you wrote about the outstanding factor. You know you can actually answer those questions by yourself. You've done great in Flash that answering those questions to yourself isn't a difficulty.
