Nike is a shoe company that has been accused to owning Sweat Shops, industries that pay very low wage and have even lower health care. What I mean is that they have toxins and don't protect their workers, have children exposed to those toxins, items that could possible cut their limbs off, and they don't care! If they don't like the shoes they make or they mess up, they toss the shoe in a pile and burn it later, which can toxin people and children. The children have very poor education. The kids don't get a good education. This is a problem, because this won't change and this will repeat the same cycle each time. The living Quarters are very horrible. They live in 9 by 9 or 8 by 8 houses with one bathroom and washing room for 10 families. Their streets are lined with sewers and if it rains, the sewage will literal be floating in their front door and only door. They are not allowed to talk to Americans or else they will be punished and even killed, just for talking.
Phil Knight, the CEO, is mean. He makes millions of Dollars a year, and is a jerk. He doesn't wanna talk about the Sweat shops in Indonesia, and was just being a jerk. He didn't even want to answer some questions, some simple questions. His excuse was "I'm having lunch with a friend." He has never been to Indonesia and he doesn't want to go. Someone had offered him a free plane ticket to Indonesia, and he kept refusing.
