What does the word "Teamwork" mean to you?
The word teamwork is a very good word. To me, it means that you are testing the trust of your friends to get something done. If you can't trust someone, it will be very hard to have teamwork with that person.
This Movie takes place in 1994, a dance program was shown to 5th graders in two new york public schools. Now 6,000 kids in 60 different schools take this 10 week dance course.
In New york, The schools don't have names. There called P.S and a number. In the movie, its P.S 115.
How do you see these students trying to work together?
These students are working together by learning to dance together, helping each other, learning things and teaching things, etc.
How does learning new things help people?
It allows them to explore new things and see if there is a thing that they might like to do. If there old and there bored, they can dance or do what they learned. That's why it is important to learn new things. You might need it in the future.
What do you think is the main message that these students should take away from this experience?
They are proving to themselves that they can do something.
How will you work together with your teammates in globaloria?
We will communicate with each other using words, instead of expecting them to do what you had in mind if you never even told them.
