I really like Cinco De mayo. It is a very cool holiday. It celebrates the battle over the French and Mexico. We celebrate all the brave men, possibly women, who gave there lives to protect there land and fight for there land too. The french started this war so its there fault!
But I love it! My family celebrates it by gathering in a spot or home and play and eat. We love it very much. We went to a presentation that was very cool, but I also did not like it. We wet to it, herd a speech, then LEFT, while everyone else was having fun. THEY GOT TO EAT! They stayed, got to listen to music, and got to eat food. AND I WAS HUNGRY!
I always ask my grand parents how they felt during cinco de mayo, and they say great. ALWAYS! I even ask them if they know anyone, family that was in cinco de mayo. They never tell.
I may not have been in the war, but I know how I would have felt if I was. I would be scared, and sad. I think that the war changed everyone in Mexico. They probably feel scared that it might happen again. I would too. It would be bad of the french won. They would probably take over and start to make there life hard with high taxes. They might be more protected, but would be bankrupt.
The wars are hurting mexico, makeing it a worser place, makeing it hard for there cilvilazation. We can make it a better place!!!♥♥♥
